William "Bill" Dooley

William “Bill” S. Dooley, 69, passed away on July 4, 2023, at his home in Woodridge, Il. Bill was born to William and Mynette Dooley (Anderson) on November 28, 1953, in Kewanee, Il. Bill graduated from Wethersfield high school in 1972. He attended Eureka College graduating in 1976 with a degree in History. He attended Illinois State University. While at Eureka Bill was an active member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.  He also was a member of the Eureka golf team.

Bill had a distinguished career with the Chicago Board of Trade and the Mercantile Exchange.  Bill served as Vice President of Operations for Alaron Trading from 1993 to 2009. Bill, an avid golfer served as a two-time President of the Village Greens Mens Club.  Bill enjoyed spending time with his special friend, Zora Baron. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Daniel, Emily, and Elaine Ast. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mynetta and his sister and brother-in-law, Carol E. (Joseph) Ast.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm - 6:00pm Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 6:00 pm, following the visitation, at the funeral home.
