William "Willie" A. Peed, Sr.

William “Willie” A. Peed, Sr., 53, died Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his residence. Willie was born October 7, 1968, the son of Delmar N. and Ethel M. (Sutton) Peed. Willie married Lynn Yelm on September 19, 1987, in Kewanee; she survives.

Willie is also survived by four children, William Peed, Jr., Kewanee, Ryan Peed, Kewanee, Steven Peed, Kewanee, Sara (Joshua) Britt, Kewanee; 24 grandchildren, Gage, Aden, Bayleigh, Zaedyn, Jadyn, Jamarien, Alaya, Jalavar, Nevaeh, Noah, Kysen, Nash, Jennessa, Shantel, Keidis, Ashlynn, Harmonie, Blake, Aylah, Jonny, Adelina, Amaya, Lorenzo, Joshua Jr.; one brother, Richard (Tina) Peed; two sisters, Debbie Dennison, and Tryvella Peed; and his fur baby cat, Pixie. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Ethen, Kallen; and three brothers, Billy, Robert, and Mike.

Willie was a truck driver for Knight, Star and Crete. Willie enjoyed fishing, collecting tools, shooting at the range, and watching true crime shows. Willie also enjoyed country music, especially Reba McEntire and George Strait. He enjoyed making breakfast every morning, sausage, eggs and fried potatoes. Willie loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
