James & Brandee Golnick

Owners/Funeral Directors/Licensed Funeral Celebrant

We grew up in southern Minnesota and were married in 1998. After having three kids, we decided to pursue our calling as funeral directors and attended Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg. We graduated in 2011 with degrees in Mortuary Science. While attending college we had our fourth child, we then moved to Port Byron, Illinois where James worked at Gibson-Bode Funeral Homes for six years. Brandee worked at River View Veterinary Service and at Gibson-Bode Funeral Homes during that time. We moved to Kewanee, Illinois in April 2017 to be a part of the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home.

Two of our kids attend Kewanee Schools. Two have graduated from Kewanee High School. They all enjoy swimming, music, sports and our family pets.

James is a member of Kiwanis and enjoys playing disc golf and camping.

Brandee enjoys reading, crocheting and quilting. She is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant.
