I met James Golnick for the first time yesterday, 7/25/23, at Frist Methodist Church, Kewanee, IL. As this was only my 2nd funeral service to facilitate in 35 years, James was so wonderfully supportive and helpful in guiding me in my duties. Anxious though I was, James possesses a calm, dignified, professional demeanor that assuaged my trepidation, and directed the funeral service with tremendous aplomb, and unmatched skills. Thank you James and all your staff for helping an old man out!
I have to say I have been dealing with this funeral home and staff since 83 and they are the best most all of our family has went through them. They make this process as less painful as possible and we are from Missouri, so we did everything over email, and it went so smooth and just the way my dad wanted it. I couldn't ask for better more caring people to help you through this. If you have to pick a place, please pick them I promise you won't regret your decision. The make-up artist does amazing work to make them look the way they should that's always my concern. So once again from my family to your Thank you for the love, care and respect you shown our families for so many years.
I cannot say enough about the kindness James and the staff of Schueneman showed our family. Thank you again, as you said James. You have restored my faith of goodness and humanity.
James and Brandee were wonderful when my husband passed away last year. They helped our family plan every aspect of his funeral the way we wanted. They offered support, understanding, and comfort along the way and even after the services were over. I highly recommend using Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home.

We were so pleased with the kindness James showed at the death of my dear daughter, Debra Bartlett Green on March 24, 2017. My family moved here 51 years ago. I taught first grade at Belle Alexander and my husband taught business at KHS.
We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
